Subpoenas Sent To Utah Players In Games Probe
Investigators looking for evidence in the Olympic bribery scandal send subpoenas to the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, Intermountain Health Care and Utah Valley State College seeking evidence. In BYUs case, the subpoena specifically asks for records related to Suhel Attarabulsi, son of the Libyan IOC member, who resigned last Friday.
Mormon Mascots for the Olympics?
A Mormon mascot was among those proposed in jest by listeners of the PRI
radio program Marketplace. The mascots were proposed in response to the
continuing Olympic scandal. The official mascot was to be revealed next
month, but because of the scandal, the announcement has been postponed.
Falcons' Portilla riding the wave of his rookie season
Texas Native and returned missionary, Jose Portilla, who is now a rookie
offensive tackle with the Atlanta Falcons, performed a photo shoot on jet
skies with teammates off the south Florida coast after yesterday's Media
Day at Pro Player Stadium.
